Liberal Arts Student Nominated for Truman

The University Fellowships Office is pleased to announce that Brendan Bernicker has been nominated by the University for the prestigious Truman Scholarship.  Brendan is a junior double majoring in Philosophy and Political Science.

The mission of the Truman Scholarship Foundation is to find and recognize college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or elsewhere in the public service. The foundation will provide them with financial support for graduate study, leadership training, and connect them with other students who are committed to making a difference through public service.

The University Fellowships Office, part of Undergraduate Education, helps interested undergraduate and graduate students pursue major national and international opportunities by providing information and direct support throughout the competitive application processes.
