Thirteen Penn Staters named semi-finalists for Fulbright

Thirteen Penn State applicants for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program were recently named semi-finalists. This means that the National Screening Committee deemed them to be among the top applicants for their countries and programs and recommended them to their respective countries who make the final decision.

Penn State selects Goldwater nominees

The University Fellowships Office, with the help of a faculty nomination panel, nominated four students for the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship. 

Penn State's nominees are Taylor Baum, a junior double majoring in Electrical Engineering and Biology, Rory Bowens, a junior double majoring in Astronomy & Astrophysics and Physics, Gwen Oliver, a sophomore studying Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Rosalie Sowers, a junior double majoring in Computer Science and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.

Gaither Junior Fellows Nominee Announced

The University Fellowships Office is pleased to announce that Ethan Paul was selected as this year's nominee for the Gaither Junior Fellows Program. Ethan is currently a senior at Penn State studying Political Science and is president of Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honors society.

Nontraditional Week Jan. 16-20
